Platform 12 is a spatial statement in support of SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, constructed entirely from reused aluminum staircases extracted from decommissioned BRTS buses in Gujarat. By repurposing these durable components, the pavilion gives new life to industrial waste that would otherwise contribute to urban landfills. Set near the riverfront, the structure not only demonstrates the aesthetic and structural potential of reuse but also fosters public awareness around sustainable material cycles.
