This project explores the development of a modular clay brick system designed to function as a climate-responsive Trombe wall. The bricks are geometrically customized with variable openings and internal voids, enabling adaptive performance in both summer and winter. In hot conditions, the wall generates a forced draft effect—solar radiation heats the exterior bricks, driving warm air upward and expelling it, while pulling air from the interior to promote passive cross-ventilation. In colder conditions, the modules can be rearranged to direct heated air indoors, supporting thermal comfort.
