Morbi - Capacity Building and Training Need Assessment

In response to Morbi’s transition from a Municipality to a Municipal Corporation, this studio project addresses the urgent need to strengthen institutional capacity through targeted training and skill development. Focused on capacity building and training need assessment, the study evaluates existing departmental roles, functional responsibilities, and workforce capabilities. It recommends a structured approach involving institutional reforms, municipal cadre upgradation, and the development of competency-based training modules. The project envisions creating a skilled, motivated, and future-ready workforce to enhance service delivery, interdepartmental coordination, and long-term governance efficiency within Morbi Municipal Corporation.
