This studio emphasizes analytical and evidence-based site studies. It begins with initial impressions of five different sites, followed by applying Jan Gehl’s criteria to assess them. Subsequently, detailed site analyses were conducted for two selected locations—Vasna and Vastrapur. Based on these observations and analyses, strategic interventions were developed. Numerous case studies were also examined to inform and strengthen the design approach. The final design proposals were contextually grounded, drawing from both the analytical insights and the lessons learned from the case studies.
