As Indian cities are expanding, therefore the public transit system such as MRTS, BRTS, Railways are getting proposed in cities to create better connections throughout the city. In order to capture the full potential of the land, which is associate to it, transit-oriented development (TOD) is consider in many parts of the country.
The Directed research project will focus on creating a framework with the help of planning, implementation and institutional parameters which will based on principles of TOD. The parameters in the Framework which can be adjusted while applied to any Indian cities based on their context. Additionally, Jaipur will be taken as the case example for recommendations according to the framework.
