Ahmedabad is growing swiftly, similar to many other big cities in India, leading to population growth, job opportunities, and increased public transportation. However, the rising demand for private transportation has caused issues like traffic congestion, unsafe streets, poor connectivity and lengthy commutes. The research aims to study the transformation around the transit stations between Commerce Six Roads to SP Stadium Junction. The study examines the cause-and-effect relationship between policy and physical changes that are shaping urban forms.  It focuses on three key aspects of urban transformation: existing site condition, physical condition, and policy analysis. It emphasizes the interrelationship between these elements, with an analysis of three physical forms (built form, open spaces, and streets) through on-site documentation, mapping, policy study and photography.  The analysis explores the differences between the existing (old) and new developments to understand the effects of TOD. The modifications in FSI and DCR have reshaped the site, as reflected in the changes in the built forms, open spaces, and streets. To better understand those changes, the three existing (old) forms have been compared with the new forms through urban design lens.
