From 16 Days to 365 Days:Olympic Spirit, Everyday Street

“A truly inclusive city is one where every street, square, and sidewalk reflects the diversity of its inhabitants.”
This project envisions Olympic-ready street that celebrates diversity in users, functions, and urban experiences, fusing cultural richness with forward-looking identity. It includes two distinct vending zones: one for everyday local markets and another for souvenirs and regional crafts, catering to both residents and tourists. Seating is designed at varied heights to ensure age-inclusive comfort. Consistent material language—rooted in folded surface techniques—shapes street furniture, bollards, and related elements, reducing material use, streamlining fabrication, and reinforcing visual cohesion. This result in multifunctional, human-centric streetscape embodying the Olympic values of unity in diversity.
