Vastral is located at eastern fringe of Ahmedabad. The area is named after the village. The area taken into studied is situated left most portion of Vastral at the intersection of Vastral rd and Karnavati rd. near the Nirant cross metro station. This study, focuses on analyzing the area in terms of its urban development aims at determining the factors which affected the urbanization in the area . This study of the precinct is done by primary surveys of the area through GIS (Geographical Information System) mapping software and aerial image study to understand the development of the area.
