Element of Urban Design

This portfolio presents three urban design modules that explore the relationship between people, streets, and public spaces. The first module studies Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong, focusing on street structure and mid-level connectivity to design walkable, accessible urban links in dense environments. The second module focuses on Kalupur Darwaja Road in Ahmedabad, where street design is reimagined to support commercial activity while enhancing the public realm. The project uses placemaking strategies to reclaim the lost identity of Prem Darwaja and Kalupur Darwaja, restoring their historical and civic importance. The third module addresses the revitalization of Bopal Lake through lakefront development. The design enhances the lake edge with multipurpose public spaces, improved seating, and integrated amenities to create a stronger bond between the lake and the community. Together, these modules reflect a contextual, user-centered approach to shaping meaningful urban experiences.
