The project focuses on formulating a holistic Development Plan for Bhopal with a planning horizon up to 2047. The vision centers on "Integrated Decentralization," aiming to balance growth, sustainability, and resilience by decentralizing functions, enhancing ecological networks, and promoting equitable access to infrastructure and housing. Key components include road and metro network proposals, mixed-use zoning typologies, TOD-aligned growth, and a five-phase implementation strategy. With a planning area of 1264.8 sq.km. The portfolio reflects learnings in GIS-based analysis, statutory frameworks, costing, and context-sensitive planning, ensuring a resilient and implementable roadmap for Bhopal’s future development.
