The studio aims to develop Local Area Plan through exploration of
various approaches of planning zoning with regulations. It was an
iterative process hence the outcome was multilayered.At the beginning as a warm up exercise individual sectoral plan was analyzed and its implementation was understood. Vadaj area is
located in the central part of Ahmedabad on the western side
of Sabarmati river. The foundation of the plan is based on a robust and nonnegotiable framework for road, heritage and green blue network for a long term future.
