Nava Vadaj, situated to the west of Sabarmati River, is a residential and growing commercial area located in north-western zone of Ahmedabad with proximity to the central core of the city. It is well connected with major city Level transects & acts as a gateway for Ahmedabad south. With its historical significance, transit nodes, various ongoing and proposed projects indicate the potentiality of scope for development in the area. An intervention in terms of a Local Area Plan is hence needed.
