Kalupur's Revival: Arrival, Identity & Public Spaces

The Kalupur Station redevelopment envisions a vibrant, pedestrian-oriented precinct that seamlessly integrates heritage, transit, and public space. The proposal emphasizes a non-FSI built form approach, fostering human-scale development and a strong sense of place. Key interventions include plaza creation, improved multimodal connectivity through FOB integration, heritage revitalization around the Darwaja, and expansive green spaces for climate resilience. With simplified plot amalgamation and context-driven design, the project aims to enhance the arrival experience, support local commerce, and promote community interaction, transforming the station area into a dynamic urban destination.
