The Urban Transformation studio explored strategic framework & design ideas within the dense, layered fabric of Surat’s Old City- one of India’s key heritage market precincts, through systems thinking and heritage-sensitive integration, aligning urban interventions with policy frameworks.

This portfolio presents CoreConnect, a comprehensive urban design framework that reintegrates Surat Old City with its natural systems, strengthens connectivity, activates the public environment and structures future growth —demonstrated through strategic designs in a demo precinct and delivered with an actionable implementation roadmap.
