The Construction Project Execution Monitoring and Control studio focused on the execution phase of an Over-bridge project designed to alleviate traffic congestion at a major junction. The bridge has an overall length of 1866.76 meters and a total width of 17 meters with two-way traffic. It is divided into Left-Hand Side (LHS) and Right-Hand Side (RHS) sections, with an additional approach bridge of width 6.5 meters with one-way traffic on the right end. The LHS bridge is further split into two divisions, each with a width of 8.5 meters. Over the four-month studio period, we conducted comprehensive analyses covering Pre-construction planning, Site layout arrangements, Risk management, Linear responsibility charting, Cost related to quality, Tools of quality, Pour planning, Material management, Lean tools implementation, Contract administration, and Earned value analysis. Throughout the course of the project, we identified major delays and areas requiring improvement. We proposed checklists related to material handling, Non-conformity procedures, Contract management procedures, and Revised site layout arrangements to assist the site team in enhancing quality and safety during project execution.
