As a part of Studio 2 - Construction Project: Execution, Monitoring & Control we had the opportunity to intervene on a Hospital redevelopment project. The site is located inside a medical campus comprising of a medical college, auditorium, hostel block and the existing hospital building. For our study purpose we investigated the execution of the building in phase 1, out of the 3 phases planned. The project study included topics such as pre-construction activities, site layout planning, quality management, project planning & scheduling, lean construction, contracts administration and earned value management.
