This studio focuses on bridging academic understanding with on-site execution practices by immersing students in real-time construction monitoring. Through active engagement with a high-rise residential development currently under construction, students will gain hands-on experience in tracking construction activities, assessing quality and safety protocols, and understanding the coordination among various site stakeholders.
-Project Context:
The project involves a multi-storey residential building with amenities such as podium parking, elevators, and common facilities. We monitored construction stages from the substructure through the superstructure and into the finishing phase, gaining exposure to the full construction workflow.

Monitoring construction activities as per project schedule and drawings
Understanding construction sequencing, labor and machinery deployment

Documentation of material handling, storage, and inspection processes

By the end of the studio, we have developed the ability to critically assess and document on-site construction processes, understand coordination mechanisms, and apply theoretical knowledge to practical site scenarios, preparing them for professional roles in construction execution and project management.
