Develop a Methodology to determine External Surface Temperature at Façade level

Building massing and façade design are crucial elements in initial stages architectural design, influencing a building's environmental performance. Key decisions, such as window placement, glazing options, shading techniques, and building orientation, directly impact factors like daylighting, passive cooling and heating, and natural ventilation. Given the importance of façade-level parameters, a robust methodology to assess external surface temperatures is essential for optimizing thermal performance. Such an approach bridges the gap between massing and façade design, enabling architects to make informed decisions early in the design process for enhanced energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
