Minimal Surfaces (Soap Bubble and TPMS)

This project focuses on making a physical model of a triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS), particularly the bat wing surfaces. Minimal surfaces in architecture are used to create structures that require less material while maintaining structural integrity and often achieving unique, aesthetically pleasing forms. We began with EX-1 learning from gurus like Frei Otto and case studies of TPMS. Ex-2 We started form-finding through soap bubble and later making more iterations of TPMS though digital modelling. We finalized a form and made a single unit of the structure.
