HVAC LAB | Spring Semester '25

The HVAC Lab focuses on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning principles with an emphasis on energy efficiency. Lectures explore key topics such as the refrigeration cycle, types of HVAC systems, load calculations, airflow measurement, ventilation strategies, and indoor air quality. The Measurement and Experimentation (M&E) provides practical experience in assessing infiltration and ventilation rates, measuring air pollutants and airflow, and monitoring the refrigeration cycle and power usage and much more. Building Simulation module helps in evaluating different HVAC systems, assess their performance, optimize systems using different strategies or iterations and analyze their impact on overall building performance in terms of energy. This is a compilation of selected work from the Spring 2025 HVAC Lab.
