Glass Building

The Glass Building is an all-glass exhibition space inspired by the Broadfield House Glass Museum, designed to celebrate the spirit of craftsmanship and material innovation. Commissioned by the Gramshree Foundation—a social enterprise that empowers women artisans and traditional craftspeople through skill development, the building serves as a dedicated space to display and honor their work. Designing an all-glass building presents several challenges, including structural stability, thermal control, safety, and privacy. These concerns are addressed through the use of laminated and reflective glass, custom-designed steel supports.
