PARAMBOO :- Blending bamboo with parametric design

This climate-responsive exhibition space features a parametric hyperbolic paraboloid bamboo roof supported by organically branching dendriform bamboo columns. The structure rests on an RCC substructure with isolated footings, ensuring durability and strength. Designed for both performance and aesthetics, the bamboo system is optimized for natural ventilation, shading, and lightweight construction. Detailed measurement takeoffs, technical specifications, and rate analysis were prepared, covering bamboo treatment, joinery, and RCC works. The project showcases a fusion of traditional material and advanced geometry, resulting in a sustainable, expressive pavilion that celebrates craftsmanship, environmental sensitivity, and innovative structural design.
