The intent of this studio is to develop a design for a residency for 11 artists at Aalloa hills, Gujarat, taking into consideration the unique topographical features of the site, and the programmatic requirements such as - arrival lounge, painting and sculpting studio, exhibition space, kitchen and dining, single and double occupancy rooms, caretaker’s residence. The design was developed in various stages, each addressing various issues through a series of well-constructed exercises.
