Foundation Studio (II), within the CEPT Foundation Programme continues to build upon the skills acquired during the first semester, adding abilities to use digital media in representation; to make models; to understand the assembly of built form through its building elements, materials and structures; to be able to draft architectural and topographical drawings: and eventually leads to bringing the skills and abilities together to tackle a design problem.

Hanging By A Thread - An understanding of structures and stresses was gained by making and testing a reed stick model.

Cube Of Metal And Wood - Using different machines and tools in the workshop, joineries between metal sheet, rod, pipe and wooden cuboid were explored.

The Bhuj Report - Spending four days at the Hunnarshala Workshop helped gain hands on experience of various earth construction techniques.

Drafting A Structure - Based on documentation of the L.D. Institute of Indology, Representation drawing showing the quality of the area was made.

Tackling A Design Problem - Designing a workspace for a bamboo craftsman in Nainital gave an insight into the design process right from climate analysis to building the layout of the structure.
