Foundation Studio (II), within the CEPT Foundation Programme continues to build upon the skills acquired during the first semester, adding abilities to use digital media in representation; to make models; to understand the assembly of built form through its building elements, materials and structures; to be able to draft architectural and topographical drawings: and eventually leads to bringing the skills and abilities together to tackle a design problem.

The hand-drawn layout of the LD Museum is shown on the sheet above, along with pictures of the model.

As a group project, these final hand-drafted sheets and models were created. This sheet represents a cross-section of the LD Museum of Arts.

This slide is a reflection of what we saw during our educational visit to Bhuj.

On the sheet above, you can see some conceptual and hand-drawn drawings of the spanning member that we created as part of the "making and testing structure" exercise.

The sheet above shows the images of the finished structural model as well as the creation process, taking into account how the failure occur.

This is the outcome of the exercise conducted in the CEPT Workshop to create a cuboidal structure out of metal and wood without the use of any adhesive.
