Foundation Studio (II), within the CEPT Foundation Programme continues to build upon the skills acquired during the first semester, adding abilities to use digital media in representation; to make models; to understand the assembly of built form through its building elements, materials and structures; to be able to draft architectural and topographical drawings: and eventually leads to bringing the skills and abilities together to tackle a design problem.

The first image shows the roof plan for the Bamboo Craftsperson's workshop as a part of the TADP exercise while the third and fourth images are the siting options and the final siting for the same. The second image is the site impression for the site located in Nainital.

The image on the top is the plan of the Bamboo Craftsperson's workshop while the image on the bottom is an inverted roof plan. The slide also includes a picture of the built-form model and a process plan.

Both of the images are sections of the Bamboo Craftsperson's Workshop Building as designed as a part of the TADP exercise.

The slide shows a section of the CEPT Workshops drawn in a 1:20 scale.

The image on the top is drafted back plan of the CEPT Workshop building while the images on the bottom are freehand sections which account as process sketches for the same building

The first image shows the annotated design plan, section and elevation for a spanning member structure while the second image shows in isometric drawing for the same. The third image is a picture of the final model with the load distribution annotated on it.

The first two images are of the final model. The third image is of the testing of the model. The next image discusses the failure and it's causes for the spanning member.

The first image is a compilation of images of an assemblage model showcasing different wood and metal joineries while the image below elaborates on one of the joineries explored.

The slide is a compilation of a few pages of a booklet documenting an educational trip to Bhuj. Different types of alternate methods of construction using soil as the primary material were explored in the same.
