Foundation Studio (II), within the CEPT Foundation Programme continues to build upon the skills acquired during the first semester, adding abilities to use digital media in representation; to make models; to understand the assembly of built form through its building elements, materials and structures; to be able to draft architectural and topographical drawings: and eventually leads to bringing the skills and abilities together to tackle a design problem.

Making technical drawings for a given site.

Building a structure with reed sticks to bear a given load. (Report for the same linked at the end.)

Joining various elements like wood and metal using different joineries in the workshop to form a 'cube'.

A booklet made for a field trip to Bhuj, documenting the various construction methods learnt there. (Full booklet linked at the end.)

Understanding a given site and client and the thought process behind creating a workspace for them keeping in mind anthro, weather conditions, location and user needs. Process models made for better understanding.
