Foundation Studio (II), within the CEPT Foundation Programme continues to build upon the skills acquired during the first semester, adding abilities to use digital media in representation; to make models; to understand the assembly of built form through its building elements, materials and structures; to be able to draft architectural and topographical drawings: and eventually leads to bringing the skills and abilities together to tackle a design problem.

S7: Technical Drawing 2 TRD2 was about drawing plans, sections, elevation of already built building by measuring it and making technical drawings of that building.

S12: Making and testing structure The structures were made to bear a certain amount of weight. Models were made of reed sticks and tied with cotton thread without the use of any adhesive to understand real structures and their working.

S 13: Joining Elements This exercise was about understanding the material and using it wisely without any wastage to make a structure that seems cubical. It helped to understand different joinery by using machinery and hand tools in CEPT Workshop.

S17: Tackling a design problem TADP was about working with an imaginary client and with a real brief about requirements and space to make appropriate structure and fulfill their requirements.
