After focusing on developing drawing and representation skills in first semester, during the second semester, the CFP Studio component focuses on building analytical abilities with exercises like mapping and data representation, buidling elements and materials, making and testing structures, technical drawing II and tackling a design problem. These skills will be put to use during L2 studios, and will be discussed in their relevance to the professional practice that designers, architects and urban planners engage in.

These images show the final stages of the process for the elementopia city. Line drawings were made to finalise the boundary and forms of buildings along with colors

These are the initial sketches while ideating for the cityscape and the different kinds of buildings in the setting

This is a cantilever plate which held a maximum load of 16.5 kg. The structure shows a leaf-like design which is inspired by nature.

We learnt the techniques of constructing with earthen methods of construction and making walls, and arches.

Final map represents the food vendors in the area near swaminarayan mandir in kalupur. The graphics and colors were choosen to be so that it looked playful and the user would have an appetite after looking at the map.

The pixelation exercise tested the color accuracy as well as identificati of color schemes in a photograph. The artist's graphics exercise made me learn new techniques in painting and gave me an insight into the philosophy behind india's one of the best abstract painters.

The plan and section made in autocad are from the namrata and karuna building in gandhi ashram. For rhino, I chose a smart watch, and modelled it using basic curves and nurbs commands.

Joining elements compelled me to explore new ideas in wood joinery, where we developed a puzzle with 6 wooden cuboidal pieces. we also explored wood to metal and metal to metal joineries by using different tools, hardware and methods.

Cost estimation helped us think about estimates which go into a business or making something. The representation is of cost of running an architecture firm for a month. It was represented by turning the office space into a cardboard model and the expenses were connected and turned into infographics building around the office space, and giving off an architect's office aesthetic

ordering principles was helpful in understanding the different ways of arrangement and organization of forms and shapes. The development of arranging the guggenheim museum amused me and the ideology and the reason behind it made me clear about the experience the architect wanted to offer to the visitor.
