After focusing on developing drawing and representation skills in first semester, during the second semester, the CFP Studio component focuses on building analytical abilities with exercises like mapping and data representation, buidling elements and materials, making and testing structures, technical drawing II and tackling a design problem. These skills will be put to use during L2 studios, and will be discussed in their relevance to the professional practice that designers, architects and urban planners engage in.

Deciphering rules of order and visual compostion.

Mapping the decibel level of Kalupur, during four different time slots.

Documenting the learning and experience of the field workshop at Bhuj, in a form of a comic book.

Making a cantilever beam out of reed sticks, using pins and lashing for joints. Then testing its load bearing capacity.

Exploring various joineries between wood-wood, wood-metal, and metal-metal and then making an abstract assemblage using giving set of materials.

Pixelating a chosen image and coloring the pixels using appropriate colors. Using the understanding of color theory I made a mood board of a given word.

Understanding the works of Paul Cezanne and the method he used and then creating a graphical composition using that understanding.

Excel sheet, mind map and infographic of the cost estimation of establishing and running a noodle factory.

Conceptualization of an imaginary world, and exploring different views that include all the major aspects of the imaginary world.

The final out put of imaginative drawing. Done on digital media (sketchbook app).
