After focusing on developing drawing and representation skills in first semester, during the second semester, the CFP Studio component focuses on building analytical abilities with exercises like mapping and data representation, buidling elements and materials, making and testing structures, technical drawing II and tackling a design problem. These skills will be put to use during L2 studios, and will be discussed in their relevance to the professional practice that designers, architects and urban planners engage in.

The imaginary setting here is based to the theme of natural acoustics. The cave is developed in such a way that the natural forms of the same are used to establish acoustics in the cave. The artists are allotted spaces in the cave according to the instruments they play.

The process sketches involved exploration of various mediums such as charcoal, soft pastels, poster colors and procreate.

The hands-on workshop allowed us to get familiar with the earthen materials and the techniques involved in its construction.

The structure of the cantilever beam was inspired by the suspended bridges. It managed to bear the load of 9.9 Kilograms.

The assemblage contains various types joineries including wood to wood, metal to wood and metal to metal joineries.

The ordering principles helped in understanding the rules of organization.

The final map of represents the vehicular and human movement in the Swaminarayan Temple, Kalupur.

The line drawings above are of the Namrata and Karuna buildings at the Gandhi Ashram. The coffee mug was prepared in Rhino, using the basic commands.

This is the estimation of cost involved in making a pair of leather shoe. The data represents the detailed costing involved, represented in different categories.

The pixelation exercise included preparing accurate colors and getting familiar with color schemes in a ghaphic.
