After focusing on developing drawing and representation skills in first semester, during the second semester, the CFP Studio component focuses on building analytical abilities with exercises like mapping and data representation, buidling elements and materials, making and testing structures, technical drawing II and tackling a design problem. These skills will be put to use during L2 studios, and will be discussed in their relevance to the professional practice that designers, architects and urban planners engage in.

In this exercise, I explored different geometries that form a design and the different principles it shows.

In MADR, I explored the area around Kalupur Tower and bifurcated the various types of food shops and reprensted them on a final map.

For this exercise, we explored various joineries and iterations of the model.

Making a structure out of reed sticks was fun and challenging and various lashing techniques were explored.

Our time at Sankalan taught us the various ways in which earth construction takes place. This booklet covers the basics of all the procedures- Foundation, Wall, Brick and Masonry.

Creating a mood board had usdelve deeper into the sense of a word and to see what colors we can associate it with. I explored the term handcrafted with subtle neutral and pastel colours.

The work of Hokusai was studied and put together in a painting that represented his style and charisma. The pixelation artwork I chose had various colours and tints, shades and hues to play with.

In this exercise, I estimated the living costs of a CP student for 1 semester.

I imagined my world to be in a spiral with buildings planned out it in cities. It starts from a central core point which is the source of all life. The lining of the shell is a beautiful array of neutral colours.
