After focusing on developing drawing and representation skills in first semester, during the second semester, the CFP Studio component focuses on building analytical abilities with exercises like mapping and data representation, buidling elements and materials, making and testing structures, technical drawing II and tackling a design problem. These skills will be put to use during L2 studios, and will be discussed in their relevance to the professional practice that designers, architects and urban planners engage in.

This was a part of the colour theory exercise for which i was assigned M.F.Husain and this is what I derieved for his graphical representation. The graphic emphasizes on the bold strokes, rhythmic lines and vibrant colours that he used for his artworks.

Imaginative drawing made with watercolours and microns along with a few selected process sheets.

The digital model and the final model made with wood and metal in the workshop along with a few zoomed in views of the joineries used.

Cantilevered beam structure made out of reed sticks and thread that was able to bear the weight of 3 bricks. This partner exercise was a part of the module making and testing structures.

Identifying the rules of organization and principles in an assigned map and by composing daily objects.

This was a part of colour theory for which I pixeleted an image taken from pinterest, using poster colours on cartridge paper.

This was a part of colour theory, creating a moodboard for which i was assigned the word Rustic. This exercise was a time problem and had to be done within 3 hours.

For the estimating costs exercise, I chose to find the cost of organizing a farewell of 300 people and to develop the final infographic I first developed a mind map of all the information collected.

Creating a measured plan and elevation of BookShop, Gandhi Asharam on the software AutoCAD.

Using a chloropeth data representation method, this map marks all different types of buildings around Bhadra Plaza, Ahmedabad. This was made on photoshop.
