After focusing on developing drawing and representation skills in first semester, during the second semester, the CFP Studio component focuses on building analytical abilities with exercises like mapping and data representation, buidling elements and materials, making and testing structures, technical drawing II and tackling a design problem. These skills will be put to use during L2 studios, and will be discussed in their relevance to the professional practice that designers, architects and urban planners engage in.

Research is necessary to comprehend how a person's style evolves over time and to further split it down into different organizational guidelines in order to comprehend the underlying design idea.

Ability to collect data and properly represent it were both necessary for mapping.

At Hunnarshala, Bhuj, one received a hands-on experience with earthen construction methods over the course of four days. This booklet contained all of the workshop's lessons.

The task required us to experiment with various joineries, and the woodwork shop gave us the opportunity to learn firsthand about a variety of machines.

The exercise allowed us to test it with bricks and experiment with other bridge structure types. Further, we identified the causes of failures and afterwards made the necessary corrections.

I received installation artist Christo Claudes. I have to dissect his creations in order to comprehend his methodology. Finally, we had to depict his work through painting, paying attention to the colors he had chosen.

The exercise attempted to estimate the costs and graphically depict them.

The exercise improved our ability to visualize through a process-oriented task that ultimately resulted in the creation of an imagined environment.

In order to complete our interior allied class assignments, we had to design an office while incorporating relevant keywords regarding the space.

We had to draft the plan and section of Hriday Kunj of Gandhi Ashram in Autocad and also had to try to create an object in Rhino.
