After focusing on developing drawing and representation skills in first semester, during the second semester, the CFP Studio component focuses on building analytical abilities with exercises like mapping and data representation, buidling elements and materials, making and testing structures, technical drawing II and tackling a design problem. These skills will be put to use during L2 studios, and will be discussed in their relevance to the professional practice that designers, architects and urban planners engage in.

Inclined Tower with 18 degree tilt, sketches of the design, bending moment diagrams, Joinery and Lashing details with failure and its rectification.

These exercises helped us apply the basics of colour theory and make appropriate tones, shades and tints in order to make a colour palette and explore mood boards.

Understanding the artist Satish Gujral and his painting style in order to make an interpretation of his art style through a graphical composition displaying his color palette.

Mapping the age of building and floor use in the Manek chowk area. The two streets choosen were Danapith road to the east and Gandhi road to the north of Manek Chowk. The mapping is represented by drawing out the elevation and of each side of the streets

Infographic representation for the cost estimation of making a wooden door at an ongoing site. Represented in an exploded technical drawing format in order to represent it correctly along with the manufacturing process on the top and bottom.

Describing a space that doesn't exist and brining that to life with colours using our imagination.
