The CEPT Foundation Programme studio is an introduction for students fresh out of school to the rigor and work habits required by an undergraduate degree at CEPT University. The studio is conceptualized as a series of sequentially planned exercises, through which students develop skills and abilities, which are then deployed to address increasingly complex problems falling in four broad categories: visualize and draw, make and learn, anayse and interpret and conceptualise and represent. The exercises are designed to provide foundational skills for students across disciplines at CEPT, between which they maintain a balance. They also reflect an understanding that at the foundation level, these skills overlap to a large extent, and a varied array is of benefit to all students. The studio is taught through intensive 1–2 week long modules, focusing on a particular skill or ability, and a process that emphasizes ongoing feedback in addition to expert faculty lectures.

Lokmanya Tilak Bag is much more than just a green space; it is a hub of activity and connection where visitors can come together to socialize, exercise, play, and appreciate the beauty of nature. By mapping out the various activities that take place within its grounds, we gain a deeper understanding of the diverse ways in which this garden enriches the lives of those who frequent it.

In joining elements, we have to create a model that showcased different types of joineries. Utilizing various materials such as wood, steel screws, and more, we explored the intricate art of crafting connections. The wood joinery technique involved intricate cuts and interlocking pieces that seamlessly fit together, forming a sturdy and visually pleasing structure. The use of wood rods further enhanced the stability of the model, creating a cohesive and durable framework that stood.

To gain a better understanding of lateral force tension and its impact on a building, engineers often turn to small-scale models. These models, typically made from materials such as reed sticks, allow engineers to simulate the forces that a larger building would experience. By constructing a small-scale model and subjecting it to various tests, engineers can observe how lateral force tension affects the structure and make adjustments to the design as needed.

The final structure

The architectural drawing of the CEPT North Security Cabin building reveals a minimalist approach to design, with a focus on simplicity and functionality.

In creating an imaginative drawing from a story, the artist must not only consider the appearance of the characters and settings, but also the emotions and themes that are portrayed in the story. By paying close attention to the mood and tone of the narrative, the artist can create a visual representation that enhances the reader's understanding and appreciation of the story.
