The CEPT Foundation Programme studio is an introduction for students fresh out of school to the rigor and work habits required by an undergraduate degree at CEPT University. The studio is conceptualized as a series of sequentially planned exercises, through which students develop skills and abilities, which are then deployed to address increasingly complex problems falling in four broad categories: visualize and draw, make and learn, anayse and interpret and conceptualise and represent. The exercises are designed to provide foundational skills for students across disciplines at CEPT, between which they maintain a balance. They also reflect an understanding that at the foundation level, these skills overlap to a large extent, and a varied array is of benefit to all students. The studio is taught through intensive 1–2 week long modules, focusing on a particular skill or ability, and a process that emphasizes ongoing feedback in addition to expert faculty lectures.

This section showcases a visual walkthrough depicting the gradual transformation from Harishchandra Ghat's solemn quietude to Kedar Ghat's vibrant activity. The ghats provide an overall context of the space, while the individual sketches capture the emotions and atmosphere of the people inhabiting it.

The Joining Elements section showcases my understanding of materials and their interaction with each other. This section features a model comprising wood-to-wood, wood-to-metal, and metal-to-metal joineries, exploring various joining techniques used in each process.

This section delves into the exploration and analysis of various materials, joineries, and junctions, focusing on the making of a Cantilever plate, load distribution within the structure, as well as its working and failures.

This section depicts the architectural landscape within the context of the old city of Ahmedabad, particularly focusing on its places of worship – mosques, shrines, temples, and smaller sacred sites.

The Infographics includes data on crowd sizes, built age, and peak hours of visit for the places of worship mentioned in the map.

The Documenting & Representing section showcases my proficiency in technical drawing, featuring accurately drafted drawings of the Herwitz Art Gallery and the Book Shop.
