The CEPT Foundation Programme studio is an introduction for students fresh out of school to the rigor and work habits required by an undergraduate degree at CEPT University. The studio is conceptualized as a series of sequentially planned exercises, through which students develop skills and abilities, which are then deployed to address increasingly complex problems falling in four broad categories: visualize and draw, make and learn, anayse and interpret and conceptualise and represent. The exercises are designed to provide foundational skills for students across disciplines at CEPT, between which they maintain a balance. They also reflect an understanding that at the foundation level, these skills overlap to a large extent, and a varied array is of benefit to all students. The studio is taught through intensive 1–2 week long modules, focusing on a particular skill or ability, and a process that emphasizes ongoing feedback in addition to expert faculty lectures.

This study, done in the form of a booklet breaks down the commonalities found in the boards found in the streets of Varanasi. The boards appear as mercantile signage above shops, advertisements, wayfinding signage etc. They are indicative of the dynamics of tourism and commerce of the city.

Seating Patterns of the people visiting Victoria Garden, Ahmedabad are mapped. This is conducted by mapping three time ranges over the weekdays and weekends. The types of seating spaces available are also mapped.

Various joineries are explored within the permutations and combinations of wood, pipe, rod and metal sheet along with the form of a tensile fabric.

A Spanning Member is made using reed sticks while keeping in mind the load transfer of a point load. On testing it, the main point of failure is identified to be improper joinery and non-uniform load application.

Impressions and dimensions of the site are recorded using observational drawings. A Plan of Kamala Café is made.

Many iterations of frames of the combinations of attributes are made. Ideations of details are also sketched. Specific prompts of the attributes are put in AI softwares to explore its capabilities. The final visual is thus made.

The themes of contrasts of the Day and Night and rituals of Aghoris and Pandits are decided upon to begin the ideation process. Prototypes are made and evaluated using playtesting and feedback. The mechanics and components are iterated upon by adding mazes, rotation mechanisms etc.

The graphics of the game are made before and during production. This is done while keeping in mind the dimensions of the components, readability, production methods and overall colour scheme of the game.

The final board game, Ganga Shuddhi, is produced with components like cards, tokens and pawns. The movement of the game has a maze with rotation and block mechanics. Ganga Shuddhi is a 4 player, role playing game with characters like Pandit, Aghori and the Henchmen.
