The CEPT Foundation Programme studio is an introduction for students fresh out of school to the rigor and work habits required by an undergraduate degree at CEPT University. The studio is conceptualized as a series of sequentially planned exercises, through which students develop skills and abilities, which are then deployed to address increasingly complex problems falling in four broad categories: visualize and draw, make and learn, anayse and interpret and conceptualise and represent. The exercises are designed to provide foundational skills for students across disciplines at CEPT, between which they maintain a balance. They also reflect an understanding that at the foundation level, these skills overlap to a large extent, and a varied array is of benefit to all students. The studio is taught through intensive 1–2 week long modules, focusing on a particular skill or ability, and a process that emphasizes ongoing feedback in addition to expert faculty lectures.

To represent Rachna Library, I utilized V-ray to render the building and present it as a model. The entire site was created in Sketchup, maintaining the exact dimensions measured on location. Natural light representation was achieved in Photoshop using Sketchup drawings.

The documentation includes wall sections, site elevations, and building elevations featuring brick details, executed with proper drafting techniques, technical drawing standards, and technical writing. Please note that the quality of these scans may be compromised due to the drawings being originally done on A1 imperial sheets.

The plans and building sections of Rachna Library are detailed with accurate dimensions and on-site details.

These module helped me learn many concepts such as geometric construction, projection methods, industry standards, practices, and many other details. Site drawing with flooring, side elevations, and furniture details of Rachna Library.

The game design overall helped me visualize the entire design process and the many small details involved in designing. It also demonstrated how different steps are taken and emphasized the importance of improvisation and problem-solving methods.

Imaginative drawing was relatively new to me, as we had to visualize the same building with different materials, place it in different scene, get some help from AI for references in later stages, and then design and create it in our own way .

AutoCAD was used to create a detailed plan of the site after initially drafting a rough plan with site details. Then, data was collected through on-site research. SketchUp was subsequently used to add floor details and render the entire site with all the information.

After testing the initial prototype, many drawings and designs were produced, which were not simple cube designs and created a unique design with strength. After considering all physics values and loads, this design was finalized. Following the final test, failures were identified, and new drawings and solutions were also produced.

With different joineries and ideas, this model was made after considering all the materials and there properties. All the joineries were done in unique ways, with one pillar hanging.
