The Monsoon Semester of the CEPT Foundation Programme inculcates foundational design skills through sequential exercises focused on perfecting freehand and perspective drawing, visualizing and drawing complex compositions. Students learn to make technical drawings using orthographic projections, surface development and exploded views of complex objects; develop the skill of estimating sizes and begin to engage with anthropometrics. Ordering principles, colour theory, imaginative drawing and deciphering and interpreting styles help them develop more complex skills. Alongside, parallel exercises focus on describing objects and presenting their own work in writing, while guest speaker lectures offer exposure to other disciplines.

This is an illustration of a narrative written by Hiteshree Panchal. It is made digitally using Autodesk Sketchbook.

This collage shows works of landscape artist Christo Claude. It was created using photoshop.

Its an exploded view of multitool made after deciphering the object.

These were sketched with pen of varying tips.

The above sketch was made to show an existing chair's situation after some years of being constantly used by a Cat. Pencil colors and microns were used.

The still life painting is a live sketch and the below one is an imaginative drawing depicting alphabets and number 10 times greater than human size.

These technical drawings were made using AutoCAD by observing the model.

The drawings were created in AutoCAD and the models were constructed by folding Card paper, taking dimensions from the drawing.

This bird house was designed keeping the style of door in mind. It was made using Autodesk sketchbook

Both the assemblages were made on paper, the colored one was then scanned and colored in Autodesk sketchbook.
