The Monsoon Semester of the CEPT Foundation Programme inculcates foundational design skills through sequential exercises focused on perfecting freehand and perspective drawing, visualizing and drawing complex compositions. Students learn to make technical drawings using orthographic projections, surface development and exploded views of complex objects; develop the skill of estimating sizes and begin to engage with anthropometrics. Ordering principles, colour theory, imaginative drawing and deciphering and interpreting styles help them develop more complex skills. Alongside, parallel exercises focus on describing objects and presenting their own work in writing, while guest speaker lectures offer exposure to other disciplines.

The various organisations were marked on the plan and the observations were noted. Source- Carpenter Centre, Le Corbusier

The image on the right is the pixelated painting on an A4 sheet made using the reference image on the left.

The image on right is a two point perspective of subtracted objects and then it is coloured digitally using the triadic colour scheme.

The sheet on left is made digitally on autocad. The same shape is made in the form of model using blue card paper.

The sketch of a bulb is digitally rendered and the other two live sketches are one and two point perspective of streets.

The picture is an imaginative drawing based on how I imagine the Earth would look like in 50-60 years. The floating bubble houses and the weird shape of trees cover the entire Earth.

The images are of the plan, side and front elevation of different objects with the measurements.
