TThe CEPT Foundation Programme studio is an introduction for students fresh out of school to the rigor and work habits required by an undergraduate degree at CEPT University. The studio is conceptualized as a series of sequentially planned exercises, through which students develop skills and abilities, which are then deployed to address increasingly complex problems falling in four broad categories: visualize and draw, make and learn, anayse and interpret and conceptualise and represent. The exercises are designed to provide foundational skills for students across disciplines at CEPT, between which they maintain a balance. They also reflect an understanding that at the foundation level, these skills overlap to a large extent, and a varied array is of benefit to all students. The studio is taught through intensive 1–2 week long modules, focusing on a particular skill or ability, and a process that emphasizes ongoing feedback in addition to expert faculty lectures.

A1 The Freehand Drawing, as the name suggests I have not used any kind of straightener or scale to make this sheets.

This module was exact opposite of freehand module, where I have used parallel bar, set square and triangular scale to make this matchbox composition sheets and its section seen in the image

As the name suggests this module was all about making modes. The first seen in the image is a cube in which double subtraction is done and secondly, the models in the other side are clay models

In this module I researched on many types of material and I also got to know about the materials which were completely new to me. This sheet is of the material testing, I test three types of materials Plywood, Steel, Brick. I tested those materials by cutting, sanding/scrapping, hammering them.

I chose a roller skate on which I wanted to do some research. First of all I separated all the parts of it and did research on the every part of that skate, its name and its mechanism. The first sheet in the image is the labelled isometric angled view draft of the skate. And the second one is the working mechanism of it.

In this module I used my body as measuring tool and measured living spaces and open spaces. In the first sheet a section of a bathroom is shown while on the other sheet an activity of sleeping is shown.

In this module I got to learn about many types organization like linear, radial and etc. In the first sheet of the image a central and radial organization is shown. In the second sheet an emphasis and asymmetrical visual balance is shown.

The module in which I did research on the colors. As seen in the sheet pixelation is done the sheet in grid box of 10x10 cm.

The module in which I did research on the fonts and their geometry. The first sheet seen in the image is from a excercise where I have expressed the meaning of the word "Hole" from itself and in the second sheet I have arranged the alphabets in a way that the alphabets are not completely visible but by the glimpse one can identify what alphabet it is.

A poster and a mind map of the minimalist architect Tadao Ando. In the a biography and his work and his style of work is described.
