The larger domain of the study is "Architectural Expression of Natural & Industrial Materials". The aim of the research is to establish relationships between constructibility and aesthetics of details- through three case projects. The research elaborates on the commonality of the constructional aspects of details and the implications on the appearance are addressed in various ways. The constructibility and aesthetics of details are interrelated through the aspects like choice of material, assembly system (in constructional aspects) and composition of detail, and the hierarchy of refinement (in aesthetics aspects). The research creates a theoretical framework to understand these interrelationships of details.
