The research explores the intricate relationship between the two domains i.e. written discourse and the architectural works within the context of the esteemed architect, Prof. Jaimini Mehta’s body of work.

Central to this inquiry is an analysis of Mehta’s written works, including essays, articles, lectures, published books, and theoretical treatises, which provide insights into his conceptual framework and thematic concerns. By examining the thematic resonances between his written discourse and built projects, this study aims to uncover the underlying narratives, symbols, and motifs that permeate Mehta’s architectural vocabulary.
Moreover, this study explores the role of written discourse in shaping Mehta’s design process, including its influence on spatial organization, material expression, and formal language. A comparative analysis of Mehta’s written and built works highlights the symbiotic relationship between these two modes of expression, wherein each informs and enriches the other in a continuous dialogue of ideas and interpretations.
In conclusion, this research aims to provide a nuanced understanding of the correlation between written discourse and architectural works within the context of Prof. Jaimini Mehta’s practice. By illuminating the interplay between these two realms, it seeks to foster a deeper appreciation of the complex dynamics between language, imagination, experience, and built form in the field of architecture.
