As urbanization increases, the functional green spaces for recreation, relaxation, and community engagement become vital. This study examines the design quality and user perception in small urban parks in the western zone of Ahmedabad. By reviewing how design elements in parks influence visitor perception and usage, the research paper highlights the significance of thoughtful design in fostering ecological connectivity and enhancing local biodiversity. This research paper will use a two-layered approach to evaluate the landscape quality of these urban parks from the perspective of user experiences with that of the designer‘s perception. The results highlight the importance of good quality urban parks in the neighborhood for building strong community bonds within the urban landscapes.  Click here for the entire document
