The study seeks to illustrate how adaptive reuse can effectively tackle the challenges of safeguarding India's architectural heritage while promoting cultural engagement, tourism, and economic development. This study explores case studies of heritage buildings repurposed into modern culinary venues, emphasising the intricate balance between preserving architectural integrity, improving space functionality, and addressing contemporary culinary needs. The study also seeks to highlight how these adaptive reuse projects celebrate India's rich food culture and regional identities while fostering sustainable tourism development and preserving cultural history.
