The study aims to explore the adaptability of softwood in furniture design through the implementation of assembly based joints. This study provides contribution to circular design, by developing methods to make use of softwood as a primary material for furniture construction. This paper seeks to provide insights into the practical implementation of assembly and disassembly based joints in softwood. By understanding the adaptability of softwood through these approaches, furniture designers, manufacturers, and consumers can unlock the potential of softwood for further applications and research in the woodworking industry.
