Mixed mode is a combination of natural ventilation and mechanical cooling, this can be used to achieve thermal comfort in a cooling dominant country like India to reduce the consumption of HVAC. There are existing controls for Mixed mode operation but they lack efficiency. Thus, this research focuses on the development of control algorithms using self-learning that enables window operation, without sacrificing thermal comfort. The outcome of this research will enable effective control in Mixed Mode buildings
