This study aimed to assess the correlation between two methods: the ACH50 blower door test and the ACHatm tracer gas test. The focus was on determining air infiltration rates through the building envelope of residential apartments under typical operating conditions. The study was carried out in Ahmedabad, India, a rapidly developing city characterized by a hot and dry climate. A sample of 27 residential apartments constructed between 1974 and 2023 were selected for analysis. The primary objective was to establish a correlation between the two above-mentioned test methods and derive an infiltration ratio for apartments with varied climates in India.
