India has made strides in reducing operational carbon, but embodied carbon (EC) remains largely unaddressed due to its fragmented and unstructured data. This study automates EC/EE repository development from literature addressing data collection, extraction, validation and development of structured  repository.  Brick had the largest EE sample (n=46), while OPC had the largest EC sample (n=11). the collected data is valuable in carrying out LCA's. The framework also supports national efforts like revisions in NBC and ECSBC to incorporate sections on EC data collection. The outcome of this research is a proof-of-concept framework that can evolve into an automated repository.
